Is Sri Ram Sene the new Taliban of India?

The yesterday's attack by Ram Sene members on Prashant Bhushan for expressing his views bring our focus back to right wing group. Even earlier the Ram Sene group had attack women for visiting pubs in Bangalore.
Again today some of the supporters of Team Anna were beaten outside Patiala house court. The members of Ram Sene group wanted release of the attackers. One of the supporter beaten was an elderly man whose grand daughter had helped break Anna's fast at Ramlila ground.

Though one may or may not agree to the comments of Prashant Bhushan, it is in no way means that one should physically attack someone since he speaks what one does not agree to. At the same time in the past attack on women by the members of Ram Sene group is similar to the work of  Taliban across the border. Such radicalisation of the society by few who hold extremist ideas can be very dangerous for the nation. The only difference between Ram Sene and Taliban is AK-47.

In one of the interviews to news channel veteran ex- Mumbai Police Commissioner said that only when such attackers are brought to book then such attacks will stop.
